New vacuum chamber at Euroluna

Euroluna has performed some vacuum tests of Romit1 in their new vacuum chamber. The chamber is built for a double cubesat and the propulsion system can be observed through the viewing glass in the top of the chamber.

Through the interface on the side of the chamber it is possible to control the OBC and charge the batteries on Romit1. Through the connection to the OBC the heater, the high-voltage power supply and the neutralizer can be activated. At the moment the heater is activated manually and when the temperature has reached the operating level of the propulsion system the heater is turned off and the propulsion system is turned on due to power limitations.
