In energy, for more than 20 years, Mark has been the Executive Chairman of Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc., a leading oil services firm, and from that vantage point has helped lead the domestic energy revolution that provided the U.S. with energy independence.

He earned his J.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and graduated Order of the Coif.
