BLIZZARD: The New Name for ILR-1 (Independence Lunar Rover)

Team Independence-X Aerospace new lunar rover name dubbed "BLIZZARD" is a small sized lunar rover which will fit into a 1.5U cubesat. It has a flip recovery feature that will enable to continue its mission even at troubled lunar regolith terrain. The rover is powered by four individual modified gearing servo motors for its tract based propulsion. The control of the propulsion is done by a PWM (Pulsed Width Modulation). The BLIZZARD will be set to communicate with the Lunar Lander dubbed "SQUALL" for transmitting the images, video, and other sensory data back to earth.
