Finding a landing site

Ayelet Klein, a member of SpaceIL's landing site team, is sharing the SpaceIL Approach for Landing Site Characterization & Site Selection. There are three steps towards finding a landing site for the SpaceIL mission to the moon:

The first step is Initial Survey, to quantify the rock abundance within the site. The second step is detailed analysis, we perform using the typography data. The third step is Additional information, providing the geological history of the site, as well as a measurement of the amount of light reflected from the surface. In addition, we intend to explore the mysterious origin of the lunar magnetic fields within the site area. Watch Ayelet’s full explanation:
