Are We There Yet?

Students from Montgomery High School Pharaohs aren’t there yet, but they are well on their way to designing and building a rover that may go to the Moon. Under the guidance of Synergy Moon team member Bernardo Escobedo from Education Technology of the Sweetwater Union High School District, these high school students are diligently working to create a prototype that meets the criteria of the Google Lunar X Prize. Spaceport Academy supports the Pharaohs who are among several high school robotics clubs in California, Puerto Rico, and throughout the world that are working toward membership on Team Synergy Moon to send a rover to the lunar surface that is capable of the telemetry required to complete the competition. Stay tuned for updates on their progress and other Spaceport Academy students!
