Chinese Dreams

In their quest for a launch provider, SpaceIL ’s Yonatan Weintraub and Avi Barliya traveled to China!

The China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) is launching team Barcelona Moon  in June 2015, so perhaps the CGWIC could also be picking up SpaceIL  as a customer! (The other team currently with a launch contract announced is Astrobotic , who are on SpaceX for October 2015).

Moon Ideation

Students from across India closed out the first round of Team Indus Lunar Rover Challenge, pitting an awesome range of moon robot concepts against each other:

The moon concepts came in all shapes and sizes, and Indus  whittled things down to these teams for round 2:

This group will be building their rover concepts for demonstration at Shaastra 2014! Should be a fun show.
