The road to the Moon leads through Hungary, as Puli  confirmed that they'll be hosting the 2014 Google Lunar XPRIZE Team Summit! Meanwhile, many of the young & passionate folks from different teams shared their experiences as they move towards history...

Next Stop: Budapest

Team Puli  confirmed in a blog post that they'll be hosting the 2014 Google Lunar XPRIZE Team Summit!

The event will take place this June in Budapest, Hungary. Stay tuned for more details! (And check out the video from last year's summit in Chile, as well as my roundup of the festivities and news from the event:)


Meanwhile, team SpaceIL  (looking ready to roll below) achieved a major milestone: purchasing their multi-million-dollar propulsion system!

The system---i.e., the engine and 4 fuel tanks---is 80% of their craft, and will take about a year and a half to produce (from the time of the contract signing).
