Tests on the robot Ladyfly of Team Italia relate to the speed of movement, the dynamic behavior in the face of obstacles and the intelligent navigation facing unpredictable conditions of soil and of  environment. In the new version with upgraded motors,  Ladyfly travels 0.2 meters per second, and can act with various synchronisms of the 6 legs.

The six legs with wheels structure was considered and adopted also by the Project Athlete of JPL-NASA, at very macro size, and offers very attractive performance in the face of unpredictable soils. Through the sensors on the feet, Ladyfly has a reliability map.
