Tech fixes, reviews, #Trained4Space @2013-Q3

A quarter that had us rushing to plug the gaps in our design - Systems & Mission. And then we started identifying partners, suppliers - including a prototyping partner @BLR.

We conducted 3 technical reviews with independent panels this quarter, hoping the next one will be with the folks whose launch vehicle we plan to use for our mission.

We had over 200 registrations for our Student Lunar Rover Challenge #Trained4Space - 63 of them came for the presentation rounds @IITM & VJTI. We are headed to IITD next week to complete the shortlisting of teams for the demo round in Jan 2014.

We conducted an outreach session @Ryan International School, Bangalore - primary school kids are a different lot, and they have some really interesting questions to ask. Trying to figure out a mechanism to potentially make this a self-sustaining outreach activity.

Mentors & Team members
We are privileged to have the guidance of Dr Radhakant Padhi, IISc Bangalore & Dr HB Hablani, IIT Bombay on the descent & landing strategy.

We added some great new talent to our team – Karthic Balasubramanian, Yachna Gola, Arpit Sharma joined us as full time team members. We are excited to have Bharat, Geno, Nikita join us in part time capacity.

We value your support, it makes all this seem possible - follow us & track our progress at - & Google+ page
